Hi everyone! Flagstaff, AZ. is a beautiful town and reminds me of Wenatchee. Flagstaff is in the mountains at an elevation of 7,000 ft. We have International swim and track teams come up here to train all the time. My first diving season at NAU was a great success. I placed 4th and 8th in finals at our WAC Conference in Antonio, TX. I also qualified and went to NCAA Zones in Oklahoma City. I placed 22nd on 3m and 30th on 1m out of 42 divers. Not my best meet but it was a lot of fun and I got to see who my competition will be for the next 3 years. I'll will be spending June in Oregon to train and the rest of the summer in Wenatchee. Previous Experience and Awards
- I have done gymnastics for 14 years, 7 of which were competitive.
- I recieved 2 artistic awards on floor, 1 at the 2005 level 9 State championships where I placed 4th on floor.
- I have competed in two seasons of high school diving
- In my first year, I placed 2nd at districts and 10th at state.
- I also recieved Big 9 Diver of the Year and a Diving Diva awards two years in a row.
- In my second year, I won districts and was 2nd at state.
- I hold the school record, 426.25 points.
My Goals
I am working toward qualifying for NCAA Nationals.
I am training very hard to become the best diver I can be.
