Birthday Party FAQs

What age are SPORT parties for?

Ages 0-10. If you have older kids, as well as parents/family, they are welcome to be in the gym, but not on the equipment.

How does the party work??

The first hour of your party is held in the gym. The last half hour is in the party room. Once you go upstairs to the party room, you may not come back into the gym to play. If you add an extra 30 minutes, your party still needs to end upstairs.

Are adults allowed on the equipment?

Nope, thank you for understanding!

My child is an athlete/gymnast/tumbler etc. Can they do their flips and tricks?

Because a birthday party is a non-structured free play event, we do limit the tricks that kids can do during parties. We allow front flips off the end of the trampoline onto the mats, but the Party Hostess must approve your flip to make sure it's safe. We do not allow back flips anywhere, or flipping on the floor.

How early can we get there to set up?

You may arrive no more than 10 minutes early.

How quickly do we need to leave after the party ends?

Please be prepared to gather up your party's belongings within 5 minutes after the party ends. This way we are able to get everything cleaned up and ready to go for the next party. It is helpful to have guests transition downstairs to get their shoes on right as your party reservation time ends so that you are able to clean up your things more quickly.

Can we request an extra half hour?

Yes! But you must do so ahead of time. Please note depending on if there is already a party booked after yours, there may not be availability to book an extra half hour. In this case, we will inform you of other birthday party time slots that may work if they are available.

Can we add an extra half hour after we get to the party?

No, the extra half hour must be booked ahead of time.

Can we add more than an extra half hour?

No, extra time is limited to 30 minutes.

Can I have my extra half hour specifically upstairs or in the gym?

Yes, that's fine! Please specify this when you request your extra time. Please note that the first part of your party must be in the gym and the last of your party upstairs in the party room.

Can our birthday party guests go between upstairs and the gym?

Going out to get a drink of water or see a parent is okay, but please avoid kiddos going upstairs to eat or snack and then coming back into the gym to play. We have had kids throw up after eating then running around the gym. Avoiding this makes it more fun for everyone!

Can I bring my own decorations?

Absolutely! But please remember you need to be able to break down and pack up anything you bring within 5 minutes after your party ends. Please note: no piñatas.

Can we have alcohol at the party?

Absolutely no alcohol is permitted at SPORT Gymnastics. If you have alcohol, you will be asked to dump it. If you disregard this, you will be asked to leave immediately ***.

What is the set-up like in the party room?

We have 2 8-foot tables (put together to make a long table) with benches, and another long table perpendicular to those. This is where we will put tablecloths. We also have 3 round tables. There is a fridge and freezer available for your use.

What is provided by SPORT Gymnastics?

We provide tablecloths, a fridge/freezer, and a microwave. A SPORT Birthday Hostess will supervise the kids while they are playing in the gym, and clean up is on us!

Can I tip our Birthday Hostess?

Absolutely!

Can I cancel my party for a full refund?

If you cancel 14 days in advance you will receive a refund minus the $25 deposit. If you cancel 13 to 7 days before your party, you can reschedule with no extra fees but a refund will not be given. If you cancel less than 7 days before your party you can reschedule for a $50 fee. If you do not wish to reschedule, no refund will be given.

How do I know which times are available to book?

When registering online, the times shown on the calendar are the times available to book.

Does everyone need to sign a release form??

Parents need to sign a release form for kiddos who are staying and playing. If a student is currently enrolled in SPORT Gymnastics classes, or filled out a release for within the last year, they do not need to have one signed.
